Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, Transvaal (13109 Cpl. S. W. Lockhart, 52nd Coy. Impl. Yeo.), edge bruising and polished, fine or better £80-100

Sydney Wilson Lockhart enlisted in the Imperial Yeomanry in January 1900, aged 33 years, and went out to South Africa with the 52nd Company, 19th Battalion, in March of the following year, in which capacity he served in operations in Cape Colony and the Transvaal until returning home in June 1901 - thereby also gaining entitlement to the “South Africa 1901” clasp.
