British Military Buttons Three Exceptionally Rare Examples, comprising 2nd Queen’s Own Regiment c. 1770 - 80, an officer’s example silver sheet on bone back (22 mm) complete with gut fasteners, the design shows a central ‘2’ within leaf sprays and at the base the Paschal Lamb; 51st Regiment c. 1770 - 80, an officer’s copper gilt sheet on bone back example (16 mm) complete with gut fasteners, the design shows ‘51’ within a French circle and an outer circle; 133rd (Inverness Volunteers) Regiment of Foot 1794 - 96, officer’s silver plate (22 mm), the design shows the crown, thistle sprays ‘IV’ and ‘133’ within a flattened oval, the back mark is ‘I.Nutting Covent Garden’, all in very good condition
