4159 Private William Muckersie, 10th Hussars, died of disease at Rustenberg, 24 December 1900. The published casualty roll lists him as ‘Mackersie’ in the 9th Lancers. Believed to be just 9 single ‘Belfast’ clasps to the regiment.
