William Henry Hadingham was born in St. Pancras, London. Employed before the war as a Cutter in the Tobacco Trade, he enlisted at London; originally as a Private 7589 in the Dragoons of the Line. Serving with the East Kent Regiment, he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 22 June 1915. Later, serving with the 6th Light Armoured Battery, Machine Gun Corps (Motors), he died in Mesopotamia, 10 September 1918 and was buried in the Tehran War Cemetery.
