William Easton was born and lived in Goole, East Yorkshire. As a Private in the K.O.Y.L.I. he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 17 August 1915. Serving with the 6th Battalion, he died of wounds on 15 September 1916, aged 20 years. He was buried in the Grove Town Cemetery, Meaulte.

Harry Easton was the son of George Easton, of 19 George Street, Goole and brother of the above. A Butcher by occupation, he attested for the A.S.C. at Aldershot on 21 June 1915 and entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 23 March 1915. Served variously with the 46th Field Butchery 1/1st South Midland Division; 3rd Cavalry Supply Column and 3rd Cavalry Motor Transport Company. Transferred to Class ‘Z’ Reserve on 1 June 1919.
