90th (Perthshire Volunteers) (Light Infantry) Officer’s Two Part Overlay for the 1829 Pattern Shako Plate, an extremely fine and rare example being a multi-rayed facetted silver star overlaid with a gilt Order of the Bath cross, upon the outer arms of the cross are the battle honours ‘Egypt, Martinique, Mandora, Guadaloupe’ in the centre a silver domed disc bearing three gilt mounts, St. Edward’s Crown over 90 and an unstrung bugle horn, the two pierced posts for mounting on the large back plate are still present, very good overall condition £600-800
