Ashantee 1873-74, no clasp (W. H. Smith, S.S.B. H.M.S. Himalaya 74.) renamed; Voluntary Medical Service Medal , with 1 clasp (William H. Smith); British Red Cross Society Proficiency Cross, no bars, reverse inscribed, ‘8691 William H. Smith’; B.R.C.S. War Commemorative Medal 1914-18, unnamed, these two mounted for wear; Royal Naval School Greenwich Medal for Gallant Conduct, an engraved medal, 36mm., silver, obverse with the arms of Greenwich, reverse inscribed, ‘Presented to C.P.O. W. H. Smith for Gallant Conduct in Saving Boats Crew 16 May 1872 Chas. Burnley Superintendent’; together with B.R.C.S. County of Norfolk Badge; B.R.C.S. 10 Years Service lapel badge and two B.R.C.S. cap badges, with edge bruising, generally very fine (9) £240-280
