Pair: Trooper D. R. L. Wilcock, 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards

Gulf 1990-91, 1 clasp, 16 Jan to 28 Feb 1991 (24710873 Tpr, 5 Innis DG); N.A.T.O. Medal 1994, 1 clasp, Kosovo, unnamed, mounted court style as worn, good very fine, scarce to unit (2) £200-250

D. R. L. Wilcock enlisted in late 1983/early 1984. In 1989 he was listed as a member of the Band. As such, in the Gulf War, he was attached to Dressing Station 1 Bravo - a medical dressing station attached to the artillery. Post-war Wilcock entered training with the Royal Navy Gun Team. In 1992 the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards and 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards were amalgamated to form the Royal Dragoon Guards; the same year Wilcock was promoted to Lance-Corporal. In the newly named regiment he continued to serve in the Band of Her Majesty’s Dragoon Guards. Sold with copied research. It is believed that only 31 Gulf Medals were awarded to the 5th Inniskilling Dragoon Guards.
