Anglesey, Amlwch, Parys Mine Co, Proof Penny, 1788, in gilt-copper, druid’s head encircled by wreath with 24 acorns, rev. pm co cypher, short-topped p, straight 1 and 7 in date, edge on demand in london liverpool or anglesey, 28.73g/12h (DH 240). Test mark on reverse rim at 4 o’clock, several minor surface marks and gilding rubbing off on high points of obverse, otherwise good very fine, extremely rare £250-350
