C/JX.190877) in original presentation case; 1939-45 Star; Atlantic Star, clasp, France & Germany; Africa Star; Italy Star; War Medal, these in named card box of issue, together with named Buckingham Palace letter, various official documents and five swimming and sports medals, extremely fine (11) £400-500

D.S.M. London Gazette 11 December 1945: ‘For distinguished service during the war in Europe.’ Seedies roll states that he was serving on L.C.T. 364, and details provided by the vendor give further information concerning the award, for bravery during an action in the Mediterranean.
