Army of India 1799-1826, 1 clasp, Ava (Gunr. W. Bayman, H. Arty.) short hyphen reverse, officially impressed naming, some marks to the Queen’s bust, otherwise extremely fine £300-350

William Bayman was born in Lancashire in 1802, and was a Stone Sawyer by trade. He enlisted in June 1820 and served during the war in Burma with 2 Troop, 1 Brigade, Bengal Horse Artillery.
