Cressall, C.E., 1st B.W.I.R., Egypt-GEA), 30mm; together with a George V Florin, rev. engraved (St G C Cricket Ball 1919) [2]. Very fine £80-100

Paul Ewart Francis (Frank) Cressall was born in Bromley, Kent, on 2 May 1893. He played first class cricket for British Guiana before and after the First World War, during which he was awarded the Military Cross (London Gazette, 27 July 1918). He died on 8 April 1943 in an internment camp in Hong Kong, where he had served as a Puisne Judge in the Colonial Service
