Middlesex is the central of the three historic counties into which Jamaica is divided and includes the island's original capital, Spanish Town. The Deanery covers the parishes of Clarendon, Manchester, St Ann, St Catherine and St Mary. The medallist was perhaps John Gibson (1790-1866), though he was Liverpool based, not London. Brandon’s index card states, ‘the only one known’
