Medals, Jamaica, Rural Deanery of Middlesex, c. 1845, a silver award medal by Gibson [London], a token of approbation within wreath, rev. if ye love me, etc, 40mm. Neatly pierced for suspension loop, extremely fine and lightly toned, extremely rare £200-300

Provenance: Bt Format.

Middlesex is the central of the three historic counties into which Jamaica is divided and includes the island's original capital, Spanish Town.
