3rd City of London Rifle Volunteers, a very fine and rare officer’s helmet plate c1902-1908 as for (KK1568) but with a complete KC back plate replacing the QVC, silver plated back plate with silver laurels, ‘London’ scroll and City shield overlays, the central motto strap, sword and mace in gilt, the grenade gilt with silver floreated ‘3’, black velvet background, some wear to the plating the gilt sections rubbed and a minor distortion to the orb and cross on the back plate but good general condition £250-350
