Lieutenant-Colonel C. E. G. Vesey, Royal Engineers, served in the Ashanti Expedition 1895-6 (Star). During the Great War he was C.R.E. of 5 Division, July 1915 to April 1916, and of 7 Corps Troops from April 1917. He served in France and Belgium from 5 November 1914 to 8 April 1916, and from 25 April 1917 to 30 October 1918. Mentioned in despatches London Gazette 17 February and 22 June 1915 (1914 Star).
