First French Aerial Crossing of the North Atlantic from West to East, 1929, a bronze medal by Anie Mouroux, conjoined busts of Assollant, Lefevre and Lotti to right, reverse Bernard aircraft above a map of the globe showing the route from the USA to Spain, 68mm (CGMP p.283). Extremely fine, as struck; in green fitted case of issue (£70-90)

The 5,500km crossing from Old Orchard, Maine, to Comillas, Spain, on 13-14 June 1929, took 29 hours 20 minutes and was made in the Bernard aircraft Oiseau-Canari
