Pair: Corporal B. Cox, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, who was reported missing on 27 October 1917

British War and Victory Medals (28374 Cpl. B. Cox, R. War. R.), together with the recipient’s Memorial Plaque 1914-18 (Bertie Cox), the first two in their original card boxes of issue, with forwarding envelope addressed to his widow, extremely fine (3) £80-100

Bertie Cox was reported missing, subsequently killed in action, on 27 October 1917, while serving in the 14th Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. The son of William and Mary Cox of Blackheath, Birmingham, and the husband of Helen Cox, of Nimmings Road, Blackheath, he was 24 years old, and is buried in the Hooge Crater Cemetery.
