Frederick William Lacey Morgan was born in Shirley, Southampton, in September 1894 and enlisted in the Royal Marines in February 1912. Assigned to the Portsmouth Division, he served in Ostend in August-September 1914 and was finally discharged in September 1933. He died in October 1958.
