Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, undated reverse, 1 clasp, El-Teb-Tamaai (Pte., R.M.); Khedive’s Star, 1884-6, unnamed, some edge bruising and pitting, nearly very fine and better (2) £240-280

George Foy was born in Islington, London on 25 January 1864. A Seaman by occupation, he enlisted into the Royal Marines at London on 25 August 1881. Served on Alexandra, January 1883-February 1884; Euryalus, February-April 1884 and Alexandra, April 1884-March 1886. Awarded the above medals whilst serving on Euryalus. Confirmed on copied service papers and roll extract.
