Jubilee 1897, silver; Cape of Good Hope General Service 1880-97, 1 clasp, Basutoland (Sergt, G. T. Henty, Kimberley Hse.); Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State (Capt. C. G. Henty, Vl. Co. R.I.R.) official correction to first initial, mounted as worn in red leather carrying case with two ribbon bars and space for miniatures, extremely fine (3) £800-1000

M.I.D. London Gazette 7 May and 10 September 1901.

Charles G. Henty, Captain, 16th (London Irish) Battalion, Rifle Brigade, 22 October 1892. Took part in the operations in Basutoland 1880-81. Served in the South African War 1900-01, took part in the operations in Orange River Colony and Cape Colony, 1900-01 (Despatches twice, Queen’s Medal and 3 clasps). Also entitled to clasp ‘South Africa 1901’.
