Sutlej 1845-46, for Moodkee 1845, 3 clasps, Ferozeshuhur, Aliwal, Sobraon (Edward Jennings, 50th Regt.) with silver buckle on ribbon, minor contact marks, good very fine £1000-1200

185 Private Edward Jennings, 50th Regiment was wounded at Moodkee on 18 December 1845, and again at Sobraon on 10 February 1846 (Medal with 3 clasps). He transferred to the 61st Regiment on 14 December 1846, was invalided from India and discharged on 20 July 1854. With copied roll extracts and metal badge.

Note: another man of the same name - 965 Private Edward Jennings, was wounded at Moodkee and received the medal only; he died at Head Quarters on 4 October 1846.
