Fifeshire Militia Artillery Officer’s Shako Plate c. 1852 - 1856, an extremely fine and rare example, being a copper gilt eight pointed star overlaid with silver mounts comprising a scroll ‘Deo Juvante’ the Thane of Fife over a scroll ‘Nimo Me Impune Lacessit’ a cannon and a scroll ‘Fifeshire Artillery’ the scroll with triple headed thistle finials, two loop fasteners, one ray point with slight buckling otherwise exceptional condition for the age £600-800
