Singapore, The Star of Temasek 1996 (Bingtang Temasek), gilt and enamel breast badge, unnamed, in case of issue, mint condition £500-600

The Star of Temasek is the highest award of Singapore; instituted in 1970 and revised in 1996. Awarded to members of the uniformed services who perform acts of exceptional courage and skill or exhibit conspicuous devotion to duty in circumstances of extreme danger. The decoration has never been awarded. With copied relevant extracts from Republic of Singapore Government Gazette.
