James Davidson was born, lived and enlisted at Glasgow. Serving in the Cameron Highlanders he entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 7 July 1915. Serving with the 7th Battalion he died of wounds on 17 August 1916 and was buried in the Fricourt British Cemetery. With copied m.i.c. and casualty details.
