Sergeant Keith Jenvey was reported missing presumed drowned on 21 July 1944. He was Rear Gunner of a Wellington bomber on a mission to bomb the Pardubice Oil Refinery in Czechoslovakia . Whilst flying over Yugoslavia the engines cut, as a result of this the order ‘prepare to bale out’ was given. The plane did however manage to land safely, at which time it was found that Sergeant Jenvey was missing. It was presumed that he had baled out, no trace ever being found of him. His name is commemorated on the Malta Memorial. Sold with copied research detail.
