Crimea 1854-56, 2 clasps, Inkermann, Sebastopol (Walter Lowe, A.B.) officially impressed naming; Turkish Crimea, Sardinian issue, unnamed, contact marks, otherwise better than very fine (2) £180-220

Confirmed on the roll of H.M.S. Wasp for these two clasps.

Walter Lowe was born at Greenwich, Kent, and joined the Royal Navy as a Boy 1st Class aboard H.M.S.
Fishguard in October 1849. He entered Wasp as an Able Seaman in October 1850 and was paid off in January 1856 when his conduct was noted as ‘good’.
