William Green is confirmed on the roll as a Sergeant Royal Marines aboard H.M.S. Amazon for this action. Seven other men with these names are shown on the roll for various clasps, including three for Syria. Only 29 clasps were issued for the capture of the French 40-gun Belle Poule by the Amazon on 13 March 1806.
