Sub Lieutenant Charles W. Raymond Bradley, ‘Drake’ Battalion R.N. Division, was killed in action in the battle of the Ancre, 13 November 1916, aged 20 years. He was buried in the Ancre British Cemetery, Beaumont-Hamel. He was the son of Walter and Jessie Bradley, of 1 Hurst Road, Bexley, Kent. He had previously served at Gallipoli.
