A British Ambassador’s Dress Uniforms Post 1902 As Worn By Ivor T.M. Pink Esq., a magnificent suite comprising the full dress coatee embellished both front back cuff and sleeve with rich bands of leaf sprays, the gilt mounted buttons bearing the Royal Arms, full dress overalls the seams embellished with 6.5 cm gold acorn lace, a folding bicorn hat in French plush black silk lace four band gold purl ornament complete with gilt button and egret feather plume, an ‘undress’ coatee with simplified lace decoration to the cuffs, collar and skirt panels only, complete with gilt mounted Royal Arms buttons, a blue cloth overcoat double breasted with gilt mounted KC buttons and a broad blue velvet turned down collar lined throughout with scarlet linen, a Court pattern sword the 80 cm bright blade etched with GVR cypher and panels of scrolling foliage gilt brass hand grip and turned down shell complete with gold bullion knot in its gilt mounted leather scabbard with its leather carrying case. White cotton undershirt by Geeves, a blue cloth and white brain sword belt and a spare white egret feather plume, two pairs of white kid gloves (never worn). The whole in its japanned metal carrying case with brass plaque engraved ‘I.T.M. Pink Esq.,’ the whole in excellent condition £800-1200
