Halifax Volunteer Infantry Officer’s Hall Marked Silver Gorget a fine quality engraved example showing the arms of Great Britain pre 1801with the GR cypher above. Below the arms ‘Halifax Volunteers’ and in the upper finials trophies of arms. The hall marks are worn but are possibly London 1794, additionally the front of the plate near the upper right rosette hole is struck with the lion passant, very good condition £900-1200
