Stanley Edward Bailey was born in Worcester, England, on 24 October 1881. Enlisting in the 46th (South Saskatchewan) Battalion at Regina in August 1915, he was serving with the 28th (North West ) Battalion when he was killed in action on 26 September 1916 at the battle of Thiepval Ridge. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial; sold with copied service papers.
