Frank Mann was born in and enlisted at Nottingham. Serving with the 17th Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment (Welbeck Rangers), he was killed in action, France/Flanders, on 1 August 1916, aged 20 years. He was buried in the Bethune Town Cemetery. He was the son of Frederick and Lucy Mann of Nottingham.
