Said Amir enrolled into the Indian Army on 28 June 1913. He was advanced to Jemadar in May 1931, Subadar in May 1934 and Subadar-Major in August 1940.

With copied research which lists him as being awarded the O.B.I. 1st Class. Also with copied photograph.
