Private William Piper, 1st Battalion Hampshire Regiment entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 12 November 1914. Serving with the 2nd Battalion in Gallipoli, he was killed in action, 30 June 1915, aged 21 years. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial. He was the son of George Piper of Middle Brook Street, Winchester. With copied casualty details and m.i.c.

Corporal John F. Batterson, Hampshire Regiment, entered the Balkan theatre of war on 15 June 1915. He was later discharged. With copied m.i.c.
