Leading Aircraftsman John Morris, R.A.F.V.R., died as a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese in Singapore on 3 March 1942, aged 20 years. His name is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial. He was the son of John and Charlotte Morris of Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. With named condolence slip.
