Guardsman Edgar Clifton Wake, 5th Battalion Grenadier Guards, was killed/died in Tunisia on 31 March 1943, aged 20 years. He was buried in the Medjez-el-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia. He was the son of Clifton and Dorothy Annabella Wake, of Banham, Norfolk.

With medal forwarding box addressed to ‘Mrs D. Wake, The Fen, Banham, Norwich, Norfolk’; named commemorative scroll; and letter addressed to Mrs D. Wake, dated January 1950 concerning the award of her son’s medals.

Signalman Ivor Edward Wright, 6th Air Form. Signals, Royal Corps of Signals, died in Lebanon, on 4 July 1944, aged 23 years. He was buried in the Beirut War Cemetery. He was the son of William Edward and Edith Wright of Grays, Essex.

With named condolence slip and medal forwarding box addressed to ‘Mrs E. Wright, 84 Kent Rd., Grays, Essex.’
