Three: Second Lieutenant W. J. P. McCombie, 10th Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, late South Irish Horse, killed in action, France, 23 April 1917

Private William Joseph Pogue McCombe, South Irish Horse, entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 17 August 1914. He was commissioned on 20 July 1915. As a 2nd Lieutenant in the 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment), he was killed in action on 23 April 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
