Peter MacPherson Grant was born on 20 August 1848, and educated at Edinburgh University, Paris, and Vienna. M.B., C.M. 1870; B.Sc. 1877. Surgeon, 30 September 1876. Served on the North West Frontier, Jowaki 1877-78 (medal), and Afghanistan 1880 (medal). He died at Agar, Central India, on 22 July 1883.
