Crimea 1854-56, 1 clasp, Sebastopol (G. Lloyd, 6th Dragns.) officially impressed naming, good very fine £300-400

George Lloyd was born in the Parish of Lambeth, London. A Labourer by occupation, he attested for the 6th Dragoons at Westminster on 5 February 1855, aged 20 years, 4 months. With them he served over 12 years, with 9 years, 6 months being overseas, serving in the Crimea and India. Lloyd was discharged in Colchester on 9 May 1867, his intended place of residence being given as Vauxhall Wharf, London.

With original parchment discharge certificate and account book; together with an original glass photograph in (damaged) leather case.
