One Pound, 18—, uniface proof on card for unadopted trial, engraved by Perkins, Bacon & Petch, names of 12 branches around border, stamped SPECIMEN at lower right between imprint of two small punch-holes (Pick –). A few spots of foxing around edges and small mount marks on back, otherwise good extremely fine (£800-1,000)
