A military B.E.M. group of six awarded to Sergeant James Dixon, Royal New Zealand Army Service Corps

British Empire Medal, (Military) E.II.R. (32566 Sgt. James Dixon, R.N.Z.A.S.C.) in Royal Mint case of issue; 1914-15 Star (T-S. & C. Smith J. Dixon, A.S.C.); British War and Victory Medals (697 Dvr. J. Dixon, A.S.C.); War and New Zealand Service Medals, these unnamed, good very fine and better (9) £250-300

B.E.M. London Gazette 2 January 1956.

James Dixon entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 17 April 1915 and was discharged from the A.S.C. on 18 July 1919.

B.E.M. with a ‘Government House, Aukland, New Zealand’ forwarding slip dated 13 May 1957. With two R.N.Z.A.S.C. cap badges; an enamelled ‘MTP Association lapel badge and a riband bar.
