(Art.)) ‘(Art.)’ re-impressed on last two medals; together with mounted set of four miniature dress medals - Imperial Service Order and 1914-15 Star trio; with a shooting medal, bronze and enamel, unnamed and ‘sharpshooters crossed rifle badge, good very fine and better (10) £200-260

Private N. Crowther, 23rd (Lancashire) Company, 8th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry, was killed in action, near Hoopstad, 23 October 1900.

Incorrectly listed in the published casualty roll as killed in action. He was in fact wounded on that occasion and discharged medically unfit 10 May 1901 (Asplin roll refers)
