74th Regiment, a very fine silver and gilt mount from an officer’s shoulder belt plate c1820-1855 (Parkyn Fig470), the multi-rayed silver star inscribed with the various battle honours, mounted centrally a gilt Elephant, complete with silver howdah cloth very fine facial condition, the star mounts now removed, the centre mounts bent over and the badge now fitted with a brooch pin; together with five other assorted metal and cloth badges good general condition (6) £80-100
