18th Century Tokens, Warwickshire, Warwick, The Greatheed Petition to Dismiss the King’s Ministers, 1797, a copper medal, unsigned, cart under gallows from which three men are hanging, the end of three logger heads, rev. as if from newgate cells three felons led, and on the new drop tyd, till dead, dead, dead, 37mm, 20.44g/12h (DH 11; BHM 445). Usual die flaw on obverse, the hanging men well struck up, extremely fine and extremely rare
