18th Century Tokens, Warwickshire, Birmingham, Presentation of Colours to the Birmingham Associations, 1798, a copper medal, unsigned [by J. Barber for J.S. Jorden], figures presenting a battle flag to a group of officers flanked by ranks of cavalry, rev. a line of men hanging from gibbets with the first one being a representation of Dr Priestley, end of bunepart and the french army around, 33mm, 20.15g/6h (DH 29). Shallow relief, usual light die flaws on obverse, extremely fine and deeply patinated, very rare £600-800
