War Medal and Australia Service Medals (18042 I. A. H. MacKay); Royal Fleet Reserve L.S. & G.C., G.VI.R., 1st issue (18042 A.B. I. A. H. MacKay, R. AFR) on the last the letter ‘R’ is overstruck on the letter ‘F’, last with edge bruising, nearly very fine (3) £80-100

Ian Albert Hugh MacKay was born in Millthorpe, New South Wales on 3 December 1907. He enlisted into the Navy on 18 January 1927 and later served in the Royal Australian Fleet Reserve. He was discharged from H.M.A.S. Penguin on 26 November 1945.
