Angus served in the Royal Navy, 1877-1899; he then rejoined, 1914-19. Lucas served on the battleship Emperor of India, June-August 1916 - serving at the battle of Jutland; thereafter served on the battlecruiser Renown, September 1916-May 1919. Lack served in the Royal Navy from January 1918; latterly serving on the light battlecruiser Courageous. Navy medals with copied service papers. Private William Ovenston, R.A.S.C. entered the France/Flanders theatre of war on 12 December 1914 - entitled to 1914-15 Star; later in Class ‘Z’ Reserve. Army medals with copied m.i.c.
