Private Charles Frederick Martin, 3rd Battalion Wellington Regiment, N.Z.E.F., was killed in action on 4 October 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. He was the son of Mrs E. K. Martin, of 15 Ivy Road, Cricklewood, London.

Alfred Keep was born in Turvey, Bedfordshire, lived at Stagsden and enlisted at Bedford. Serving as a Corporal in the 1st Battalion Bedfordshire Regiment, he was killed in action on 23 April 1917, aged 26 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial. He was the son of Thomas and Sarah Keep of Bedford Road, Stagsden, Bedford.
