British War Medal 1914-20 (923 Pte. G. Dadswell, E. Kent R.) suspension slack, edge bruise; Memorial Plaque (Frederick Harry Williams) very fine (2) £60-80

Thomas Dadswell was born in Paddock Wood, Kent, lived at Staplehurst and enlisted at Headcorn. Serving with the 5th Battalion East Kent Regiment, he was killed in action in Mesopotamia on 21 January 1916, aged 26 years. He was buried in the Amara War Cemetery. He was the son of Mr & Mrs Dadswell of Little Harts Heath, Stalehurst, Kent. Note the initial on the medal is ‘G’.
