Afghanistan 1878-80, 1 clasp, Ali Musjid (1194 Corpl. C. Chalons, 81st Foot) edge bruising, contact marks, good fine

Charles Chalons enlisted into the 81st Foot on 10 December 1864. He was promoted to Corporal in August 1876 and was posted to the 2nd Battalion 47th Foot in April 1879. He attained the rank of Sergeant in January 1882 and was discharged on 15 December 1885. With some copied service notes and roll extracts.
